摘要:
In a hot QCD, a local parity-odd domain can be produced due to nonzero chirality, which is induced from the difference of winding numbers carried by the gluon topological configuration (QCD sphaleron).
This local domain is called the chiral-imbalance medium characterized by nonzero chiral chemical potential, that would possibly be created in heavy ion collision experiments. 
I will talk on a new possiblity to probe a remnant of the strong CP violation in heavy ion collision experiments: That is charged pions tagged with polarized photon emitted from the chiral imbalance medium
(ref. Phys.Rev.C95.065204(2017)).
This talk will start from a couple of review parts on the axial anomaly and the related topological vacuum structure of QCD, and the chiral imbalane medium.
